Meet our Learning Lab Interventionist: Ms. Michelle Joyce
Hello! My name is Ms. Michelle Joyce and I am the Learning Lab Interventionist here at Troy Hills School. As a Learning Lab Interventionist, I will be providing identified students with support and intervention in the areas of ELA and Math. My goal is to help students build confidence and find success in their grade level classes.
I received a BA in Elementary Education from Montclair State University in 1997. I did my student teaching in Parsippany, and have been a classroom teacher with the Parsippany Troy Hills School District ever since. I have taught grades 3, 4, and 5 throughout my career. I received a MS in Math Education from Bank Street College in NYC in 2003. Math is my favorite subject to teach. I love watching the “light bulb” go off when students understand something they’ve been struggling with.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I enjoy reading, music, and baking. I also love to travel and have visited many places, near and far.
I am excited to be a part of the Troy Hills community and look forward to helping students find success!
