Physical Therapist

Mrs. Dominy-Marx

My name is Michelle Dominy-Marx.  The 2021-2022 school year is my 15th year in the Parsippany-Troy Hills District.  I work in several of the schools in the district, from preschool through high school and I greatly enjoy working with our students.  School based physical therapy serves to support students in the academic setting.  This may include classroom and building navigation as well the acquisition of gross motor skills (running, jumping, throwing, etc). needed to participate in physical education and interact with peers in meaningful ways during recess.

The CDC recommends that children get 60 minutes of physical activity each day.  For many of our students this looks like play.  Household chores can also help students to move while contributing to the household.
