Meet our OT - Brittany Moran

Hi! My name is Brittany Moran and I am the Occupational Therapist here at Troy Hills Elementary School. I knew at a young age that I wanted a career in the therapy world as I knew it would be a field that would allow me to help others and make a difference. This led me to attend Sacred Heart University in Connecticut where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. My occupational therapy career then began at Kean University where I earned my Master’s Degree (and met my husband!). I currently have about 4 years of experience in the OT field and have worked or done fieldwork at P.G. Chambers School, RWJ Barnabas Hospital, Kessler Rehabilitation, Greystone Psychiatric Hospital and a private outpatient clinic. Of all my experiences, I love working with children the most. Occupational therapy allows me to be able to help students achieve independence and reach their potential in their occupations, school and play, while being creative and making it fun. Outside of my OT world, I love spending time with my family, cooking, shopping, sleeping, completing DIY home projects and eating at delicious restaurants.
