Troy Hills Schoolis a very special place! We are one large community of learners, withstudents, staff and parents who all work together to ensure that ourchildren feel comfortable learning new skills and concepts, and applyingthis newly acquired knowledge in a variety of ways. Our staff memberswork towards planning differentiated learning activities that addressthe needs of our students, who possess a diverse range of learningstyles. We are a caring community, in which we focus upon many positivecharacter traits, as we help our students make positive and healthychoices within their lives. Students are encouraged to show respect forthemselves, others and for their school. We have a very supportive andgenerous PTA who provides our children with many wonderful experiencesand activities, including an excellent array of cultural arts programs. We are proud of our amazing students, our terrific “Troy Hills Tigers!”
- If your child will be absent or late to school, please call our Child Safe line and leave a message with the information. If your child arrives to school late, you must park your car and walk with your child to the main office, and then sign your child in, before the student may go to the classroom.
- No vehicles may be left idling on school grounds. Parents dropping off or picking up children involved in the SKIP program, or any other activities, must park their cars in regular parking spots, and then escort their children in or out of the building.
- Please be sure to follow all arrival and dismissal parking lot rules, and to exercise extreme caution when driving in or out of our school grounds. Kindergarten and first graders, who do not ride school buses, must be picked up at the flagpole area daily. They may not walk unattended past that area.
***If there will be a change toyour child's normal dismissal procedure, you must submit a written, signed note to our school. If you are planning a play date for yourchild, and another child's parent will be picking up your child, bothparents must send in written, signed notes ahead of time!
